Today I'm going to talk about our budget in Kyoto.
In many people's minds, the prices in Japan is pretty high, but in fact in recent years Japanese prices have dropped a lot. And especially, when we were there in May, it was low tourists season, so the flights and hotels were much cheaper that in spring and autumn.
We flew from Shanghai to Osaka, and from Nagoya to the northeastern Chinese city of Harbin, each way costed 80 dollars.

今天给大家讲一下我们在京都的预算。 在很多人的印象里日本物价昂贵，但其实这几年日本物价已经下降了许多，当然也有可能是国内物价飞涨的原因，所以很多中国人都感觉日本物价并不高。 日本贵在住宿和交通费，吃的方面并不贵，而且在快餐连锁店也可以吃得美味。 我们去的时候是五月份，樱花季刚过，机票也非常便宜，我们从上海飞大阪，名古屋飞哈尔滨，每次航程都是差不多80美金的样子。

We slept in a modern hotel in Kyoto, and in comparison to hotels in Japan, the size of our hotel room was huge. There was a small kitchen and it was allowed to cook, and bathrooms have a small Japanese style bathtubs.
The best was the price of the hotel, just 35 USD a night.
But if you are not a traveler with budget, check out the traditional Japanese guesthouse, we slept once in Nara, wonderful experience.

我们住在京都的一家现代风格酒店，在日本房间面积已经算是很大的了，有小厨房可以做饭，洗手间有小的日式浴缸。 当然最主要的是价格喜人，且离京都市中心鸭川这样的景点只有10几分钟的徒步路程。 当然如果不考虑预算，在京都最好还是体验当地的传统民宿，我们在奈良住过一次，非常难忘的体验。

Wearing the traditional Japanese kimono and roaming in the historic lanes in Kyoto is also one of the best ways to experience local culture. The old streets of Kyoto still remain the ancient artistic style, they are in dark and somber hues, so a girl whose wearing bright colors kimono would be perfect for shooting.

穿着日本传统和服置身于京都具有历史感的老巷之内，也是深度体验京都的方式之一。京都的街巷整体呈现出一种极具古意的暗沉色调，和色彩明艳的和服形成鲜明的对比，随意漫步其中，都能拍出很美的照片。 我是在京都租的和服，本来是想在奈良租的，但考虑到京都和服租借公司更多些，选择多一些，价格也会相对便宜一些。我的和服是300元一天外加发型设计。 其实大部分和服的颜色都很衬肤色，我个人觉得重要的是选择特别一点的花色，因为京都游人较多，很容易撞衫。

When we were in Japan, we were used to eat in the fast food chains, they have undoubted good food, we never felt that we had enough of Japanese food.
We ate once really good and cheap buffet, which costed 50 dollars for two person.

我们在日本的时候基本都去吃连锁快餐店，牛肉饭拉面亲子饭海鲜饭鳗鱼饭都非常好吃，我们在日本几乎都没吃腻过。 推荐一家京都的烤肉自助，我们两个人算上饮品才花了50多美元的样子，肉质非常好，环境也很不错。 日本的居酒屋也很便宜，小菜选择也很多。

We stayed for five days in Kyoto, and spent three days in the city, two days in the mountains where in the suburb.

Kyoto is a truly ancient and self-aware city, even there are a lot of visitors and still can't hide the elegance of the city itself.

我们在京都呆了五天，三天在城市里，其他两天去了周边的山麓。城市里有袛园白川、宁宁之道、二条城、花见小路、石塀小路、二/三年坂、鸭川。周边山麓也去的地方就更多了，三岛由纪夫的金阁寺、渡月桥、岚山、竹林小路。

京都是一座真正意义上的有古韵的城市，即使游人众多，依然遮盖不住这座城市本身的气质。
