Life Around River Kunhar

During my travel to northern areas of Pakistan I saw this river every where. The Kunhar River is 166 kilometres long river. This river is always in news because of its furious flow of water. Many people have drowned and many incidents happen on this river. During my travel I took photographs of this river and also captured some moments of the people living around this river. First thing I observed was the dangerous dolly crossing the river. Hundreds of people use this dolly for crossing purpose daily.

I saw many bridges on this river and mostly are destroyed because of annual flooding. Some bridges are functional where you can see people and animals crossing the river.

As flow of water is very fast so some extreme sports are also organised to attract the tourist like rafting and rappelling. During these sports they follow the safety measures to avoid any incident.

River kunhar also offers very beautiful scenery. You can find many safe places where they have developed some resting areas. Many local people are also doing their daily routine on river kunhar like cattle care and harvesting etc. River kunhar is a full of life place where you can find every shade of life.
