Katas Raj Temples (Part 2) - Bara Dari
In my last post I wrote about Shri Katas Raj Temples which are located in Choa Saidanshah, Punjab, Pakistan. I also wrote about Katas Raj water pond which is Hindu's most sacred place as they believe that the pond was created by teardrop of Shiva (Hindu god). Today I am writing about the Bara Dari which is situated right beside the pond. In this Bara Dari Hindu perform their spiritual rituals and also their weddings and other functions are also organised in this Bara Dari.
As this Bara Dari is situated at a very beautiful location and you can view every major building from Bara Dari. Bara Dari also has a beautiful roof decoration and also has old wooden doors. On top of the Bara Dari dome there is a beautiful golden Hindu symbol which shines from a distance.
As Bara Dari is located near the Holy pond so it is perfect place to perform hindu religious rituals. From every mandar building you can see this pond and Bara Dari. When you enter into Katas Raj Temples then after visiting holy pond everyone must visits this Bara Dari.
