I've got new legs, a map & a Compass.

My whole life, I've tried to do the right thing for everyone else. I've spent countless hours trying to mediate. Trying to learn forgiveness, rising above, Wearing my heart on my sleeve. I've made countless sacrifices without batting an eye. I've let bygones be bygones and although distancing myself, I've still deeply and genuinely cared for other humans. I can't read sad stories or watch sad things on television because it resonates and stays with me. I can sense heartache and pain within minutes of speaking with someone. I've been the shoulder to cry on, to lean on, the shoulders that would carry the weight of the world. I've listened to "sides" without taking them, and tried my best to be a comfort in times of need. I have given more than I've had without a pause, and without asking anything in return. I've learned that despite what we are taught, humans are not inherently good or evil but a mix of both at any given time. I can be social, but prefer to observe more than anything else. I've realized words without actions are meaningless. Love without patience is untrue, and that a large portion of earthlings will only sacrifice as long as it benefits them in some way. When fish decide to grow legs and walk out of the ocean, the fish stuck in the water can't understand and will do their best to pull them back in. Selfish motives and greed are both the most epic flaws of humanity. Life is fine with these people until you find your own path. Then they are uncomfortable, assuming, judging, and biased. Sometimes people are just incompatible with newer versions of things. It's not good or bad, but it is necessary to see it for what it is. And if nothing else, the lesson it brings, will help you along your new path with your new legs.

"I use to think being a warning was not meant to be apart of anyone's life purpose. However, how could you teach anything in life, without the deepest understanding of what not to do? Personally, I don't want someone offering advice, unless they have been to hell and back with a map and a compass."

Now I have new legs, a map & a compass.

Pro tip: try making multiple short paragraphs instead of very long ones. Easier on the eyes!

Great post. Now can i get a copy of your map? and maybe hold your compass?

You can have the originals if you'd like. I'm hoping not to need them for a while 😂 (One can dream) lol

All you need are the legs. ;)

You know what, I totally agree. The map and compass are just a bonus, but definitely not necessary! 😊
