Blockhouse Karl-Marx-Allee, Berlin- Delicious Steaks Since Ages

Steak Quality Which I like
I had been on restaurant tour with our dear steemian @charles-d and so we decided to check the steak quality from the Blockhouse again. Usually I go there 5-8 times per year. So I have a good ongoing overview about the quality there.
What I like about the Blockhouse is that the quality and taste of the complete meal has been the same sinnce my first restaurant visit about 17 years ago.
A Refreshing Starter And Mixed Salad
As a starter we drink a small Berlin beer from the barrel. And for the main course with meat there is clearly a red wine Cote du Rhine.
The salad is always super fresh and I especially like the American dressing.
The restaurant in the Karl-Marx Allee is also usually very well frequented. That's why I only have this photo below with a little background view .
Although there is usually a lot going on all day long, you always get a place without ordering in advance. The restaurant and the number of seats is really huge.
The Main Dishes
Fillet medallions and mushrooms
tender beef fillet medallions with potato gratin and mushrooms in herb cream
MRS. RUMPSTEAK
a first-class cut of our own butcher's shop, 180 g, from the young, hearty back of beef, garlic bread and French fries.

Conclusion: Both dishes were like always 1 A. The fillet medallions with the sauce became a dream come true. The rump steak well matured and the French fries really crispy.
The service is also always very nice.
A very clear recommendation.
