Its tax season right now, so this post is highly relevant. While I dont live overseas anymore, having a savvy accountant was key to me maximizing my deductions. Not all CPAs are created equal. Find the ones that know your situation the best.
As for S-Corp tax elections, huge fan of this! Its how my business is set up. The flow through of earnings (and losses in the case of my first year getting set up) prove huge advantages during tax season. My CPA says we can always reevaluate down the road once the business matures.
