A nice walk in Sorrento - Una bella passeggiata a Sorrento(Eng/Ita)

From 29 to 30 July my family and I went to Sorrento where we spent a pleasant weekend.

Sorrento is a beautiful coastal town in southern Italy and is an international tourist destination.

In this post I will take you for a walk through the center of Sorrento.

The main street of the center of Sorrento is Corso Italia.
In this street there are many shops, bars and restaurants.
The color you will see frequently in the streets of the center is yellow.
There are many lemon trees in Sorrento and many shops sell typical lemon-based products such as limoncello. Limoncello is a yellow-colored liqueur obtained using lemon peel, alcohol, water and sugar.

If you stop at the "Oparrocchiano" restaurant you will be able to eat a typical dessert "Delizia al limone" under illuminated lemon trees.

Going all over "Corso Italia" you arrive at "Piazza Tasso".
"Piazza Tasso" is the central square of Sorrento.
It is called Tasso in honor of the great and famous poet born in Sorrento in the year 1544.

Not far from "Piazza Tasso" is the "Villa Comunale".
The "Villa Comunale" is very beautiful.

Sorrento has a port and some beach establishments.

My opinion

Sorrento is really a beautiful place to visit. The atmosphere and the scent of lemons make Sorrento unique ...
...and as a famous Italian song by Luciano Pavarotti says "come back to Surriento"...I will certainly be back ...

Sono stato a Sorrento nei giorni 29 e 30 giugno. E' stato un bellissimo e piacevole fine settimana in compagnia di mia moglie e mia figlia.

Sorrento è una bellissima cittadina costiera del sud d'italia ed è anche una meta turistica di fama internazionale.

In questo post vi porterò a fare una passeggiata per il centro di Sorrento.

La via principale del centro di Sorrento è Corso Italia.
In questa via ci sono tanti negozi, diversi bar e ristoranti.

Il colore che vedrai frequentemente per le vie del centro è il giallo.

Infatti ci sono tanti alberi di limoni e tanti negozi vendono prodotti alimentari a base di limone come il limoncello (liquore dal colore giallo ottenuto utilizzando la buccia del limone).

Se ti fermi al ristorante "Oparrocchiano" potrai gustarti il tipico dolce "Delizia al limone" sotto un tetto fatto solamente da alberi di limone illuminati da tante luci. La sera l'atmosfera che si viene a creare è davvero particolare.

Percorrendo tutto Corso Italia si arriva a Piazza Tasso.
Piazza Tasso è la piazza centrale di Sorrento.
Si chiama Tasso in onore del grande e famoso poeta nato a Sorrento nell'anno 1544.

Non molto distante da Piazza Tasso c'è la Villa Comunale.
La villa comunale è molto bella.

Sorrento ha un porto ed alcuni stabilimenti balneari.

Mia opinione.

Sorrento è davvero un bellissimo posto da visitare. L'atmosfera che si respira e il profumo dei limoni rendono questa località italiana unica...
...E come dice una famosa canzone italiana di Luciano Pavarotti "torna a Surriento"...io certamente ci tornerò...
