SEC16 W5: “My... Romeo and Juliet”
Today, as usual, I am grateful that I can still enjoy the day.
I often see people fall in love. There are many perspectives in interpreting it, and love does not have to be owned, and love is unconditional.

Often the word love is based on affection, knowledge, sacrifice, emotion, and also protection. Usually, without love, a person's relationship will be vulnerable to betrayal, pain, disappointment, and despair. Some say don't love too much. There is no need for sweet words in love, because what is needed is proof.

In 2016, the end of April witnessed the true story of Romeo and Juliet. At that time I had just graduated from undergraduate college. After a few days, I met my friend and stayed overnight at his house because my parents would be forced to marry someone I didn't know.
When I was about to leave the city where I live, suddenly a message came into my messenger box with the words, "Assalamu'alaikum, I want to get to know you, is that okay?". I just read it and didn't reply because I didn't think it was worth replying to. The next morning, my cellphone vibrated. Suddenly a new number came in and I ignored it. After the message came in and he introduced himself, I finally picked up the phone and I was surprised that he wanted to get to know me seriously.
For the reason that my friend and his friend are the same, I tried to open myself up. Finally, a few days after we met, he invited me to Ta'aruf. I was surprised and yes, okay, I answered the challenge without meeting face to face. And apparently, within 2 days, he returned from overseas and went to my house and proposed to my parents. At first my parents didn't believe it until he arrived and finally couldn't speak. Love is making a promise to fulfill all the consequences that will come.
After conveying his intentions and intentions, my parents asked and I didn't know anything about him at all except his name and where he lived. It's not that easy, my family looked for all the information and after they were sure, they agreed.
Before marriage, he never said a single word about love or a question, "Will you marry me?". With only prayers and the blessing of both parents, finally, this short story ends with a marriage contract. In fact, I was stunned when my friends said that I had become the legal wife of my current husband. This love is a very simple story.
Maybe he never said the word love before marriage, but that doesn't mean he doesn't love me. I know that his sacrifice when he proposed to me was an expression of affection and love. He wants to look different without imposing his will on others. The true expression of his love was when he dared to shake my marriage guardian's hand and say the words of consent boldly and eloquently. The struggle for love has opened my eyes that in fact, he is the only man who wants to be truly loved and cherished.
Do words of love come after marriage? Of course not, unless I force it. Haha That doesn't mean he doesn't love me, we often joke, and he has done everything for me and the children, and for me at all times, he has always loved me and the children and we will also always love him and appreciate him for the rest of our lives.
The story of me and my husband is the answer to prayer that was answered, because love is not just words, there must be proof and sincerity in sacrifice.her child. Love also There are joys, sorrows, tears, disappointments, and also pain, it just depends on us, how we behave, hold his hand tightly or let go.
