waiting for a photocopy of KMS Ghaisan

Rushing someone's actions is not good. Last night I went to bed late and ended up oversleeping. The alarm had been ringing for 30 minutes, but it was like a lullaby.

Last night it rained, and all the sandals on the side door of the house were muddy because they had been splashed with rainwater. So, before I dry the clothes I washed last night, I have to wash my sandals first. I have to hurry because today is the last day to return Ghaisan's form at Kindergarten.

In recent years, kindergarten schools have asked for KMS for children in the posyandu books. Because I didn't have it, I went to Brandeh market to photocopy the KMS. The weather was very hot, even though it was only past 10 am.

There is only one photocopy shop in Brandeh and apparently I had to queue. It took quite a long time, but I was relieved when I arrived at the school, it turned out it wasn't closed yet, Afiza also went to school here and today was her last day of school before graduation.

Pliek Sauce

Pliek sauce and cold nutrition

In the afternoon, my in-laws cooked Pliek soup. This is a typical Acehnese food cooked with pliek (fermented coconut) along with various other types of vegetables. My sister-in-law was also here, and I was relieved that I didn't have to cook and we had a simple meal together.

The taste is very delicious, added with cold nutritional water. Because it was a little spicy, children couldn't eat it and they only ate the eggs. The dishes are piled up and what's more the kitchen is like a broken ship.

boba water stand

After being full of drama, finally the children played outside the house and we cleaned it together. I was reminded that you shouldn't pile up rubbish in the house, so this could be called a total cleaning.

After the day had given up a bit and my body was healthy after resting earlier, I went to Simpang Rangkaya and wanted to buy boba water which the children liked. The atmosphere here is starting to get busy because it will welcome the Muslim holiday, namely Haru Raya Eid al-Adha.

chocolate truffles

Don't forget, I also bought some chocolate truffles. On the road, I tried it and it turned out that it tasted very sweet, but it didn't sit well with my throat. Even though it is currently busy, the current condition of the Simpang Rangkaya market is relatively quiet compared to yesterday's Eid al-Fitr celebrations.

The current economy is indeed a bit difficult, the village people's income is mostly from the rice harvest, but for the past 2 seasons farmers have experienced crop failures due to the terrible dry season, but the price of basic necessities continues to increase.
