Cleanliness is next to godliness, this is a common saying. We actually discharge one of our duties as corp members in our host community. It was such an experience for us. I trust you would love to have the full gist. Let me serve you hot...smiles.

Thursdays are for CDS, It was a cold Thursday morning, the harmattan here ain't friendly at all. It gets really cold here as the day goes by. Should I say the cold woke me up? I think I would be wrong to say that, God actually did smiles... A dead man don't feel anything, do they?

As my usual custom is, I gave thanks to God for another beautiful day even though I knew I was in for a serious environmental sanitation activity for the day. Our community development service (CDS) was slated for 9am, I decided to quickly curate some contents before preparing to join my other colleagues for the task ahead.

I left home some minutes to 9am and got to out meeting point past 9am, thank God for the the grace of extra15 minutes added to the slated time,I would have paid a fine of N200. We had plan visiting the immigration center in our local government. We met together though some of us didn't show us as they were not feeling too well.

In no time we introduced ourselves and then got into the business for the day. We took our time to clean the surroundings of the place which is one of the major reason why we came. In less than an hour we were done and then we reported back to the officer in charge before taking our leave.

We then moved to our next location, the Primary Health Care center of the community for the same same activity. We also did well to introduce ourselves and then delve into the business for the day.
Well we came prepared with our cleaning equipment just as seen in the image below.

I got home some minutes to 12pm after the whole sanitation excercise. It was such a tedious activity for us but what can we do. We have to obey the clarion call and do what we have signed up for.
Under the sun and in the rain.... Only few can decide this statement...smiles

I got home and continued with my curating activity which lasted for about 2 hours. Trust me curation is not as easy as it seems if you really know what it take to give upvote and then take record of those supported. But in all I have learnt greatly, these experience I have gathered these past few weeks is priceless.

I later took my time to go over a book I have been reading for quite sometime titled Passing It On by Myles Munroe. It was given to me by my pastor to read. He gave me a week to consume it but then this is the second week and am not done with it. Don't be quick to judge me friend,It's quite bulky.

I read this book for about an hour and then tidy up my curating activity for the day. As at this time it was already some minutes to 8pm. I then meet with a colleague and friend of mine for our regular prayers which lasted till 10pm.

When I came back,it was night out. I hope you found this interesting. Thanks for coming this far with me dear friends. I do not take your time for granted. Gracias!

Hi @lhorgic
You've had quite a busy day, from what I can see.
It's nice to be able to help other people, cleaning those spaces with that work team always leaves a good mark.
And then come home to continue working but online, I have to assume that you ended up exhausted.
And still, you had the strength to read part of that book, which, by the way, seems to be very interesting.
