Am very happy to be here in this awesome community, it's a fresh new season with fresh energy. Having gone through the contest topic in this awesome community,I decide to participate in this contest.

It is true that we all have one app or the other that helps us in our day to day activities. I will love to share with you one of those apps that have been very useful to me. I hope you find my entry interesting.

The name of the app I will like to talk about is "My notes - Notepad". This app is really an amazing app. I don't think I will be able to completely tell how much it have been of help and how resourceful it has been since I started using it. I won't be wrong to say I have been using this app for the past 4 years if not more.

What does your app do?

In this section,I will be sharing with us the things this app does. I hope you find it interesting enough to add to your list of useful apps.

• Note taking.

This app does a very good job when it comes to note taking,I find it very easy to take note with it more than I do with my pen and book. I am not always with pen and book but am always with my phone that is why it very easy and handy. I don't get stranded when am with my phone.

• Reminder.

Not only does this app takes note for me but it also reminds me of events and activities. This feature is built into it and performs well. You could create your diary with it and also create date for certain important events. The reminder will surely notify you when the day finally comes.

• Back up and sync

It backs up your notes of any kind via it back up and sync feature. You can't lose your notes or important writeups with this app. The backup feature and sync feature when activated ensures that your documents are completely safe and protected. If you lost the phone or lose the app by accident,you can always retrieve all your information when reinstalled.

• Trash

This app also comes with a trash bin and the way it functions can be likened to the way a computer recycle bin works. Any item deleted will go straight to the bin. It therefore means,if the deleted item was by mistake,you can always get it back and use it for whatever you're retrieving it for.

When you go through the trash and see noticed that you don't really need any of the item there any longer you can then finally delete it so you have have unneccesarily things stored up on the app.

• Autosave

This app autosaves your information or write up. You might be typing on it and then you phone suddenly begin to malfunction or you probably close the app by mistake while working on it. You need not to worry at his point because your work save immediately the apps senses any slight movement just like I've mentioned. So your information remains intact.

How long do you use it per day?

I use it everyday and by everyday,I mean at intervals. I write on daily basis which also includes my activity here on steemit. It will interest you to know that I compose most of my write up with the aid of this tool. I create draft with it before I start editing the work on it.

It an app I use most times to pen my to-do for the day. I pen down things with it even when I am going to the market,yea!, I write on it the things I want to get from the market. it makes things very easy for me.So it like my everyday pal.

What could you recommend to improve this App?

The recommendation I will like to make to improve the app is that the ads that appear from time to time on it should be removed even for the free version. Although the ad free option is only meant for the premium version.

Am not so worried about the ads because allowing it is a way of generating income for the developers but I feel removing it will go a long way in making users enjoy the app more.
