My New Pretties

While still in my "way too busy" mode (which seems to be going on forever, and definitely just got extended by another month and I'm currently wondering how I'm supposed to survive it), I still think it's important to find time for the fun stuff. Reading a little over the morning's cup of coffee, waking a short walk outside just to get some sort of sensation of "outsideness" and not simply working at home all day long, cook a light meal, hug the cats a little, and take nice photos.
So when I got my latest batch of "gifts", or as I like to call them, "my pretties", I was very happy. Why happy? because some new colors, pearls, and materials are now available to me for experimenting on my more relaxed hours (if I ever get to have any for the rest of my life).
And here is what my new pretties look like, after a small reorganization:

There are so many things I'm dying to make. I've been spending quite some time on the net recently, looking for inspiration and models I can develop into something new of my own. And while I found so many of them, the only thing I'm really missing now is... well, time.

It always makes me laugh when people tell me "omg, I don't understand how you manage to do all these things, you do so much!", while I feel as if I'm not doing anything at all, and mostly feel like I'm pretending to do most of it anyway. But to each their own, and I'm well aware of the fact that I'm endlessly perfectionist - and not on the good side of it. In this, it seems, I resemble my father (which I never really intended to do, but hey, what do you know, character does transfer, at least in part, by genes).

If you have any recommendations on how to deal with the fact that I need more hours per day, please don't hesitate to tell me about it, I'd LOVE to hear.
Really, I will.
