All in On EOS

in #cryptocurrency8 years ago

Decided to push all my trading chips into one basket today and went ahead and purchased 500 EOS. The price has been steadily dropping since the main net launch while EOS just keeps breaking down milestones. EOS surpassed Bitshares as most transactions in a day and the endless slide has to end at some point.

I bought in around $7.65 and I'm hoping I made a good decision. Most of my crypto related decisions lately have been abysmal and I'm hoping my luck is ready to change.

It's time to hodl that sweet sweet EOS. Take it away hodlman!

I also started powering down here on Steem, simply for the reason that especially in this extensive bear market, you need to have liquidity. Having your funds locked in for 13+ weeks is a lifetime in crypto and a huge downside of Steem.
I totally understand your decision to go all in on EOS. Unfortunately the whole crypto space is not behaving with any logic or fundamentials. Even the best and most advanced blockchain has no better chances to bring you a good ROI than a common shitcoin. Sad, but true.
I recently put a lot of money into TRON, but even the best news (like launching the mainnet or acquiring BitTorrent) have no effect on the price at all.
Sometimes I have the feeling, that 90% of all crypto "investors" simply choose their coin by the best logo or design.
I'm also quite frustrated with this market at the moment and would like coins like EOS or TRON to succeed, because they do stand out. I'm losing hope though....

Originally when I started this blog, I wanted to test your theory a little bit so I had my wife (who has no crypto knowledge) select a coin for me to buy each week. For most of my experiment her coin did just as well as the coins I had chosen. So yes the crypto world is very wild and unpredictable.

That's because crypto is all about emotions. The correlation between different coins is very high, everything moves in tandem. And the markets are not rational. Or we see a lot of fomo or fud.

Yes, I remember. I also bought some EOS yesterday at 7.20, but have a stop loss at 7 because of the unpredictable situation. Whenever I think that the bottom is there for sure, there is a new low waiting just around the corner...

I've just been viewing my EOS vs ETH. I'm up 2% ATM but the settings van come hard and fast.

It's frustrating at the moment. Especially since the charts shows many positive signs, but no movement up. Let's hope this desert won't last for another 6 months!
