THE HIGH ESTEEMIAN Reveals 1 Weird Trick to Get Rich on Steemit

Once upon a time, two months ago, I was just a young Steemling, struggling to make even a few cents on my posts.

Now I'm raking in a tidy average sum of 9 SD per day, and it's all due to 1 weird trick I discovered for how to get rich on Steemit!

It took hours of research and analysis to figure out this method. I could easily write an ebook all about it and sell it for 99 cents a pop all day long. Tens of people would rush to buy it. TENS, I tell you. Or I could seal the secret in a fancy envelope and sell it to the highest bidder. I'd probably make 12 SD, easy.

But it's important to me to give back to the Steemit community. Every now and then, I like to reach a helping hand down into the writhing underbelly of the introducemyself tag, where all the young Steemlings are scuttling to and fro, begging for pennies, and assist one or two of them to greatness.

That is why today, I'm going to share my hard-earned 1 weird trick with you, my ravenous fans, FOR FREE.

Are you ready? Okay, here's my 1 weird trick to get rich on Steemit:

Content.

You know when you click on a successful post, and you see a bunch of words, images, and perhaps a video of people talking or maybe playing music? That stuff is called medias. And when an author compiles one or more medias into a post, that is called a content.

All of my most successful posts have at least one content. And if you scroll through the trending feed, you will discover that all of the highest earning posts on Steemit are also composed of contents. You could say, truthfully, that the one thing that all brilliant Steemit posts have in common is CONTENT.

But wait, you might be saying to yourself, what about those posts I see sometimes that only have, like 15 words and a dumb picture? Is that a content, too?

No, that is just a media. The author has completed step 1 of making a lucrative Steemit post, by finding an image and thinking of some words to go with it. But he or she has not completed the second and most important step: developing the media into a content.

There is an alchemy to turning a media into a content. Here's the secret formula:

  • Make sure the media is not thrown in at random, but that it comes together to form some sort of cohesive message to the reader. All of your words, images, and videos should help to convey the message you are trying to get across in your post.
  • Punctuate your word-based media so that it is easy on the eye. Otherwise it will end up looking like a page of code, and that is not a content.
  • Format your medias in a way that people will not mind looking at them. You don't want to give your reader a headache or a seizure. That's not a content, that's environmental toxicity.
  • Here's the trickiest part: make sure that your content is not actually someone else's content. It can be hard to know for sure, so here's a test I always use. Look at your post and ask yourself, "Did someone else create this exact content before I used it?" If the answer is yes, you are using someone else's content, and that is frowned upon on Steemit and pretty much everywhere else. They even have a fancy word for it: plagiarism. (I know, it sounds funny, but it's a real word. I looked it up on the Wikipedia.)

I know this can get confusing, trying to figure out what a content is and how to go about creating one. When I first tried my hand at content creation, many years ago, I kept getting stuck. I barely knew what a word was, and stringing words together into sentences proved a difficult task. Then, when it came time to add an "image", I had to consult the dictionary to figure out what the hell that even was. But I soldiered on through all of the adversity. I climbed that steep learning curve until I collapsed, exhausted but gratified, at the summit. And look at me now! I'm making a cool 9 SD per day from my efforts. All because I took the time to learn what contents are and how to make them.

And here's my promise to you, young Steemling:

If you keep plugging away at this content conundrum, eventually you, too, will become a successful Steemionaire, making as much as 9 SD per post, just like me. If you can work yourself up to making one content a day, you will have mastered the 1 weird trick, and you will become rich on Steemit.

You should feel grateful. There are plenty of starving children in the world who can barely even cobble together one content a month, and here I have given you the key to making content after content after content on Steemit.

But I won't hear of any plans to repay me for my generosity. I don't do this for the kickbacks.

I do it for the ego strokes. So stroke away.

I love you, Steemit!
