Mad Scientist's Journal: Day 32
11:38am: woke up to klaxons "What now?" I exclaim as I staggered towards the sound, finding two perfectly toasted pieces of bread with butter sitting on a small plate beside a pan with two amorphous shapes smoldering in what appeared to be some sort of cooking oil. "Deep-fried poached eggs... wonderful," I muttered as I turned off the heat source, deactivate the alarm, and set a reminder in my phone to instruct the robot butler to transfer the pot containing the superheated liquid to the hazardous disposal area.
1:09pm: checked email; considered posting on LinkedIn for the new henchman position, but then all the recruiters will want to "network" with me... hmm, might be a good opportunity to test the mind-control steganography routines I've been developing. Prior tests showed promise, what with the recent changes in the hair styles of the late night talk show hosts: man buns are 'so in' this year...
3:34pm: stopped by the greenhouse again; venus fly-traps (now raccoon-traps) are flourishing... time to put them to seed and contact my henchman in Home Depot corporate to find the proper 'test market' for my creations: somewhere with a significant pet population, especially those carried about in purses.
6:24pm: early dinner this evening; after the unwelcome effect of "beef" stew, opted for a light salad with 3D printed sushi...
6:52pm: well, at least this time I made it to the restroom in time... need to review the protein molecule folding routines; this has a potential to make some real money, if I could just keep it in my system...
8:37pm: more coding on the rocket pack; managed to sustain flight for 30 seconds, then set a new record in dousing the fire after the subsequent explosion. Considering a mixed-mode pack: combining a standard octocopter with a rocket booster for the initial ascent...
10:54pm: AI work gaining more ground; was greeted upon entrance with a sound reminiscent of "Hello Doctor", although it was more like "Hellllllocccctoooor". Making progress, which is always good. Language is important, although I might want to try adding ethics subroutines into its core matrix... Nah, where's the fun in that?
12:03am: relaxation time: tonight's choice is from the classic Flash TV show... light on science, but that Amanda Pays. Why can't I find someone like that? Perhaps on ScientistMingle.com...
1:42am: closing this journal entry. I remain dedicated to my plans of world domination, if only I could get properly poached eggs. Until my next entry, this is Theodore M. Strandimore, signing off.
Love it! :)
Keep up the great work @les-peters
