Agreed, but try explaining that to a sales or support staff... It will be like batting your head on a wall!
It may just be an excuse. I had that with BOINC and shared hosting. TOS say you are not allowed to use software that destrabilize the server.
Well, BOINC does not do that. It just uses all the ressources that are not used by anyone else. Means the server CPU always runs at 100%.
That is not destabilizing, but of course it costs way more energy than they calculated ;)
You would think that things like that would be covered in the TOS, some sort of fair use clause. Boinc is science computation on EOS?
