Legacies is a Tv series of directed by Julie Plec, staring cast like; Aria Shahghasemi, Matthew Davis, Kaylee Bryant, Jenny Boyd and Danielle Rose Russell who has a vital role as one of the leading characters.

Legacies was a spin-off from the the popular Tv series The Originals which show cases the paranoaic life and envious cycle of revenge of Niklaus Mikaelson, a hybrid creature, half vampire & half werewolf, the first of his kind.
With the two images of they characters standing at the forefront you could already decipher that they are the lead characters whom their stories are being played.
Hope Mikaelson (played by Danielle Rose Russell) is the daughter of Niklaus Mikaelson born by an Alpha Werewolf, which makes her a Tribrid, half Vampire, half Werewolf and half Witch as she is a descendant of the first Supernatural family.
Legacies is the story of the young descendants of the supernatural world striving to survive amidst all odds, without the presence of their parents and attending the Salvatores school in an enclosed environment.
With Hope Mikaelson taking the lead and with other supernaturals students like the saltzmans' witch twins the keep defending the city of monsters and creatures alike that are not human friendly.
In legacies the supernatural community is more like urban life style than ancient Mystic falls.

The show is now more teenly and civil, as the creatures (Vampires, Werewolves, and Witches) now live and school together. Unlike the later, where the fight each other over power, quarters, territories and ancestral beliefs.
Understand that this series have a long history of Supernatural communities. Before The Originals was Vampires Diaries
Vampires Diaries was the major Story of Julie Plec (Romance of a Vampire & a Human girl) which had The Originals as it's spin-off that later gave birth to Legacies just like the name implies.
My detest so far is that I still Prefer Vampires Diaries as it was in Mystic Falls an ancient city and The Originals which was New Orleans to Legacies as their Destination is still School environment.
And also Vamps. & TO had more mystical acts with profound costume and musical settings.
The three are filled with romance, but I miss Niklaus and his witty sayings.
Everyone is still expecting a strong come back/reunion on set as not all the characters in the previous series died.
Hope Mikaelson yet an orphan still have an Uncle and two Aunt still alive according to script, two powerful original vampires and a witch of the first coven. They all promised Niklaus to look after her daughter as he sacrifice his life along side his elder brother Elijah for the better good of all.
