Found this picture which i took almost 2 years ago. It was the time when the foundation was laid for our new house.

I had brought my mother that day with me to double check if everything was going as planned.

Building your house by yourself is hectic and tiresome, but somewhat nice experience. The procedure is exciting and and you probably just can't wait to buy new stuff for the house that you've always wanted and move in. For me, it was a learning experience. I learned a lot of stuff, nifty life hacks etc.
