One photo a day challenge (230/365) all year long

in #photography6 years ago

Today was a very wet day. Earlier, I stopped by the post office and it was pouring rain. I had no umbrella so I was running in the rain. I have to tell you I enjoyed that. If there’s one thing I love it’s being in the rain. I haven’t out grown my love for playing in the rain.. not that I do that still but I don’t mind getting a little wet from rain.
My picture for today was taken a couple of days ago. I came across this lovely sign

It obviously got my attention. I think it would look nice in a kitchen. What do you think?
Is there something you still love to do as an adult that you did as a child?

hahaha, I dont like getting wet. I am afraid it will start raining any time soon. I will try to be weather-conscious now.

Does eating ice cream count? Speaking of completely childish things, throwing or dropping stones in the water is fun. I don't do it often and particularly not if I perceive it as being potentionally harmful. But if an opportunity presents itself and I have nothing else to do, I might throw a stone in the water and see how many times it bounces off the surface.

Sure eating ice cream count if it’s still your favorite from your childhood. Thanks for sharing.

My is simple... I love spinning flat plates no matter the size on my finger. I still do it when I am not that occupied

Nice, I remember my high school classmates (the boys) did that a lot. Cool!

Hello, good morning, as soon as I saw your publication, I remembered what I have in my home and I took a picture for you. there says: A house is built with wood and nails, a home with LOVE and Dreams.

The one that your samples is very nice you should have it in your home ..

Well I really loved to eat milk powder with sugar, that made it hidden from my mother, because milk powder was very expensive for her, at that time we were very poor, but thanks to her I never missed the food, I remember that she He spoke to me very sweetly to give me a scolding, telling me not to do it anymore, because my little sister needed her, I stopped doing but I confess that I still like her. The worst thing is that now in all of Venezuela, due to the same shortages, I can not do it. You can not get milk powder as well as other things.

That’s a nice message. I also love eating dry milk, the nido brand. Not sure what kind you like.

My mom would love that ornament, she is a lover of those signs she has many in the house. There is something I still do since I was a girl that is combing dolls whenever I see a doll I make hairstyles, luckily I have a daughter, she has a doll that I always comb, but my daughter I do not comb, to my daughter comb is her dad.

That’s interesting. You must have learned to do your daughters hair from your dolls right? Hopefully she lets you do it.

Happy day dear friend, this very decorative adornment is very beautiful for home spaces, I also like to enjoy the rain.

👍 Nice.

I love to make the paper models that I used to make in my childhood

Are they good?

Yes they are good

As a little girl I used to go out when it rained, I loved doing it, but Mom said I could get sick Hahaha

That's such a nice shot and a nice thing to have home sweet home :)

The rain is fascinating, I always like to bathe while it rains and it reminds me that in the old days I went out to play soccer while the water fell
