We actually burnt the shop/cabin in a controlled burn, it was beyond any repairs.
It had been abandoned for about 20years. The lot was so overgrown, even the wheelbarrow had grown into the trees.
Yup! We are building a 16x32 timber-framed shop first, the floor and the roof trusses are done so far.
There is so much snow this year it kinda put a pause on things but come spring we will be back at it, hoping to have it up and done shortly after we get back at it.
This was earlier this year when we were able to just drive across the lake. Now, we were having a hard time plowing across and just decided to wait till the snow changes a bit, it was super hard and drifted so very hard to plow.
Wow, what a terrible way to find your place. I can't imagine how long it must have taken to get that place back into shape.
