Leeds United News 29th April - Leeds: 6th Most successful British team in Europe ever!
We open today with the league table of 'Most Successful British Clubs in Europe.....ever!'
.....and you may ask, why we would have any interest in this table when we haven't played in European competition for 18 years but the answer is simple. Leeds are in 6th position. We should have been higher if not for the cheating, bribe-taking refs of the '70s but not to worry, it won't be long before we're amassing points in this league again!

Loan Players
Leeds currently have a number of very important players on loan whose contracts expire on June 30th. With very little hope of the current season being finished by then, Leeds United Chief Executive, Angus Kinnear has been giving an update.
As usual, there were no specifics but he was pleased with the way talks were progressing. The players concerned are Jack Harrison, Ben White, Illan Meslier and Jean-Kevin Augustin. All top drawer so let's hope we get the cheque book out and sign them full time.
They have all come into the club and worn the shirt with pride, let's get them all in on a decent deal ready for the Premiership.
