*Suspicious Mind

‒ the title of the song by Elvis Presley. I decided on it, not because I like this melody or I was inspired by its lyrics. It's about a specific visual recording - video. Elvis in a white dress on the background of many musicians, the entire orchestra, behaves in a very inspiring way.

This video has an interesting layered structure for me. The first layer is a pinkish background that changes its temperature depending on the pulsating light. Then we have the musicians, the space between them and the choir, the space of the stage, Elvis and the audience sitting elegantly at the round vintage tables. The video lasts for over 6 minutes, but during it a lot of surprising twists and turns happen.

The level of Elvis expression increases significantly. His violent movements are sometimes slightly frightening, especially for the long-haired, embarrassed negress in the choir, who stumbles with fear when she sees Elvis.

Despite his grotesque exaltation, the song is consistent and harmonious. All it takes is his little gesture, and the pace, the volume changes, the lights go out, or they suddenly turn on. Everything is amazingly coherent, expressive, but not pompous. This video can be analyzed and divided into layers, but without Elvis there would be no harmony in it.

I say that he is an outstanding guy :D.
