The Diary Game 06-07-2020 (Sunday)

Today being a Sunday have to be one of the most uneventful days of my stay at Ondo State, Nigeria. Having woke up in the early hours of the day, let say around 7 am in the morning, I just laid down in the bed and was pressing my phone and surfing the net. I actually had no plans on what to do today, not until my friend Toluwani suggested we head for the church. The idea was brilliant as churches have been reopened in that region. I quickly went into the bathroom to have my shower and by the 9 am, I was ready dressed up for church.

I had to await my Friend to finish up with church preparation and he will be the one to drive me down to the church. After about 10 minutes from the period I finished dressing up, my friend also finished up with his own preparation too and we had over to the church in his car, that was after we have taken a lot of pictures at home. On getting to church at around 9: 35 we were met with a shocker of some requirements needed of us before we will be allowed to gain passage into the Church auditorium and they were;

• Wearing of face mask
• washing of hands with soap and water at the church entrance

It was a shocker that we didn't plan for so we quickly rushed to buy a face mask and used then face our hands before being given the access to enter the church. We were opportune to make the second service as the church actually holds three to fours services every Sunday. The name of the church was Winners and it ranks among the best in Nigeria. After about 30 minutes in the church, I began noting down some key points of the teacher teachings into a notebook carried along with me to church. I wrote all I could so as to study them at a later day for easy assimilation and assessment.

After the church service ended around 1 pm, my friend and I headed back home in his car and we made a stop at a nearby store to get some food items in form of noodles, people and eggs. we haven't eaten before heading our to church hours ago, so on getting home, I quickly went Into the kitchen and prepared my favourite dish which noodles and egg. I firstly prepared the noodles which were garnished it with pepper before I turned the noodles from the pot onto my eating plates, then I went ahead with the frying of eggs also which was also garnished with pepper and when done frying, I place the fried egg into the noodles in the plate.

I started eating and finished around past 2 pm and when done with eating, I drank water to help with the digestion process. After finishing eating, I become bored and I had to switch on my laptop in order to watch some movies so as to keep myself occupied pending the time something interesting shows up. I watched two movies and I wished I had watched them earlier because they have been on my laptop for a while and the title of the movies are Zootoopia and Ghost in a shell. This two movie made me really lose track of time as I concentrated my time on watching those movies. while watching the movie from my laptop

At about 5:45 pm, Toluwani (my friend) got a call from a friend from work requesting him to come over to pick up some food in had prepared for us. He quickly both got something to cover our nakedness and started making our way in my friend car over to the location of the colleague. On getting there, we rang him to tell him about us being where he asked us to be and in no time he showed up to further to point us to his house where the food had been neatly packed for our convenience. It was a long drive due to the bad roads but it was worth it in a way as got the food we needed to survive for the day. My friend and I on our way to get the meal

After getting the food we headed back home and we got home a few minutes past 7 pm but before getting home, we made another stop to get some soft drinks, my friend got a coke and I got Pepsi which is lately turning out to be my favourite drink. In getting home, I made way to my room to check the food that we were been given and to my surprise, it was both fried rice and hollow rice with a big chicken. As I ate this delicious meal I knew it was going to my dinner, so it was best to eat slowly and enjoy the food before it finishes. Along with the Pepsi bought, I couldn't get enough of the meal as the two went hand in hand with one another.

Devouring the meal took time because I was watching a movie while eating and although it took a considerable amount of time before finishing the meal, it was worth it. I cleanly finished meal from the container used in serving it and I finished my Pepsi before heading to bed later on to have a well deserved night rest which I might have been lacking for a while.
