The celebration that was buzzing online when the ivory coast winger was been captured by Arsenal football club is still ringing in their premier league rival ears. The excitement was so loud that we thought that surely he is going to be the next big thing in premiership.
Having had a wonderful season with lille the last time out, it is only logical that he is expected to hit the ground and running in the Premier league but that was the case as of now. Even Eden Hazard needed time to settle in At Chelsea when brought in.
Pepe himself has not really helped himself out. More and more people will definitely start watching him more now due to his miss against shelffield united, A match Arsenal lost. He had a chance to put the gunners ahead in the first half but his point blank mis time kick definitely cost Arsenal the match.
Now his stats was been brought up and we all could see that so far, he is a scam. Just one penalty goal from 9 matches is a bad return for a player worth 75 million pounds. Only time would tell if he would be able to repay the Arsenal faithful.
I hope his game improves but the fans should be calm and give him enough time to prove himself
