Vegetables Stuffed Tofu You'd Better Try!
Hello stemians, I Like to repost my old blog post about how to make stuffed tofu. It is called "Tahu Berontak". It is simple recipe if you want to try. You can change the filling with your own vegetables in your country. Ok let's check the steps

Ingredients
10 pieces of Brown ( fried) Tofu
Wheat flour 100 gram
2 carrots
A quarter cabbage
Some bean sprouts
5 Shallots
2 garlic
Little pepper
Coriander flour
Two spoonful of salt
Little sugar
Steps
Shred carrots, and cabbage
Take out the flesh of tofu ( empty the tofu)
Slice 1 garlic and 2 shallots
Sautee the shredded carrots, cabbage, sprout, and flesh of tofu with sliced garlic and shallots.
Add a little salt and sugar.
Put the sautéed vegetables in the tofu.
Prepare dough from wheat flour.
Grind 1 garlic, 3 shallots, and little pepper and coriander flour with one spoonful of salt.
Add a litter sugar and taste the dough.
Coat the tofu with the dough.
Fry the coated tofu in deep frying oil.
Let the tofu look golden.
Take out the tofu.
Now Tahu isi is ready.
Tahu berontak is very popular in Indonesia. The taste is also different at every regions. There are some tofu filled with meatballs, sprouts, and spicy and hot vegetables. There are some food street sellers that you can find in many cities in Indonesia. Ok you can try my simple recipes.

Interesting. Do you layer the stuffing in the tofu like a sandwich or just push it in?
I push it in and cover with spicy mixed wheat flour then fry the tofu
