Hem, Have you taste papayas? Everyone who lives in tropical countries must have tried papayas. Papayas are easily found in fruits market because the fruits no need seasons. Everytime papayas can be harvested.

Papayas are sweet fruits. There are many kinds of papayas. The color is yellow to orange. The vegetation is via the seed. It needs high sunlight intensity to get the best papaya fruits.

Nutrients in papayas

Talking about the nutrition of papayas, There are some essential nutrients that our body needs.

  • Papayas are rich with beta carotene. Beta carotene is related to orange and red pigment of fruits and vegetables. It is a kind of antioxidant. It is well known that beta carotene can reduce cancer risk.
  • Papayas has high natural fiber. Fiber improves the digestion system and lowers the absorption of glucose. There is also enzime papain that o prevent constipation together with fiber.
  • In papayas are also found choline, vitamin K, A, C and potassium. Choline is nutrient found in papayas that aids our bodies in sleep, muscle movement, learning, and memory. Choline also helps to maintain the structure of cellular membranes, aids in the transmission of nerve impulses, assists in the absorption of fat, and reduces chronic inflammation.

How to consume papayas?

I think no need special cooking to eat papayas. You need to peel the ripened fruit and eat it. You can also mix papayas with other fruits as fruits salad.
