Purple/green orchid flowers
Zygopetalum Orchids
Continuing with my theme of orchids (just now decided I would do a theme) - these are Zygopetalum Orchids. They have a rich purple/white variations in the lower petals, and then larger green/red upper petals. I remember they had a sweet, delicate smell. I snapped a photo of these at the San Diego Botanical Garden in California - in Balboa Park.
