Have always been a big fan of castles. Been lucky enough to work for a German company and would go see castles after work or on weekends sometimes during work trips.
Aschaffenburg had some really cool castles close to my work office. That would be a town to recommend for castle lovers.
Cool thing about castles is the fact that a lot of them will be around for hundreds of years from now as they are usually built to last forever.
