Far from what is popularly considered, forests are more than just a set of trees arranged side by side. They represent perhaps one of the most important natural wealth on planet Earth.
Forests are as if they are popularly considered, the true "lungs of the planet." From the forests comes the oxygen we breathe, from there the food we eat originates; there live thousands of animal and plant species; there is the source of work of millenary communities.
