Little Waxbill Friend*

This sweet little bird flew into our window this week and when we went to pick him up he opened his eyes! For a few dizzy moments we got to hold him before he flew away over the hillside, it was so heart opening.

We covered that window in stickers and hung chimes to deter any repeat offenders. Our son now has started a bird log noticing every bird that comes through our hillside.

What an amazing interaction to bring us closer to our wild neighbors just outside our window:).
