I'm the best procrastinator.

I have had 2 months to prepare to move...

But I have gotten almost nothing done, until today. I was overwhelmed. I am moving to MN in less than a week now. I have a room full of furniture I was supposed to have sold. Have had all my belongings to go through. Have had to pack, throw things away, clean. There was so much stuff for me to do that I coped with this by doing nothing at all, which obviously isn't helpful.

I sat in bed for the past 2 weeks, watching a Japanese reality show, drinking beer, and eating roasted peanuts.

Today, my boyfriend told me he is coming back from his road-trip early. I panicked as I sat in his bedroom, surrounded by depression mess and feeling crippled. But, to my surprise I have been more productive today than I had in about a week. I took out 3 bags of trash, did 2 loads of laundry, vacuumed, organized belongings, and changed the kitty litter. There's nothing like finding out your lover might see what a mess you really are to get you in gear.

Luckily, I have a super supportive boyfriend:

You would think after moving countless times I would eventually learn not to leave everything for the very last minute but, evidently, no amount of moving makes that lesson learned. Luckily, this time I got rid of a very large amount of clutter that was weighing me down. It still won't be an easier move as it's going to be a 4 day road trip, with a cat. On the bright side, my cat is a very quiet traveler. :)

Time to sort through my boxes of magic cards, untangle my yarn, and organize my art supplies. :)

I can't wait for this fresh, scary, start in MN.
