Photography - Norfolk Broads, England

in #photography9 years ago

I absolutely love the Norfolk Broads in England. I have taken three holidays there in my lifetime but only once as an adult, last year.

It was even better than I had remembered, I think we just generally appreciate more of the world as we get older. I liked it as a child, I love it as an adult.

We hired a boat for 7 nights and you just set sail. Cruise around, stop at village pubs and nature reserves. It really is a lovely experience. It's very relaxing. We visited little towns and museums too. There is a variety of places to visit.

What I loved the most about this last trip was that we had only a tiny low powered electrical supply meaning that the technology was limited, forcing the children to actually enjoy being outside. There were no mobile phones or games consoles or even television.
I believe that it is important to take some time out from technology sometimes to ground yourself back to reality.

It is such a beautiful part of the country. Here are some of the pictures I have taken which actually don't do the place justice:

**hi I followed You via #minnowsfaucet. Your post was lovely, I really enjoyed the photos and narration about your vacation in Norfolk on the boat. How unusual that you had time with your children without constant technology! Very nice to meet you. I upvoted your post and shared it on twitter and LinkedIn.

Thank you. : )
