Hello friends. Hope everyone is doing well. Am also doing fine thanks to Allah 🙏. Pray to continue wake up health and creative.

How my Saturday went;
Woke up by 6am as I planned, with in a while heard rain drops. Went back inside my blanket just waiting for the rain to stop. A round 6:50am, I ran out of the bed because I had remained with only twenty minutes to set off.

I was rushing this morning because the mother club ( Rotary club of Kampala East) had a project called mission green. So, we had to collaborate with them as the young rotaractors. These include;
_ the Rotaract club of NAKAWA MUBS.
_ the Rotaract club of Ndejje city
_ the Rotaract club of Kampala East.

The meeting place was at Hotel Africana and we set off around 7 : 35am. They were two buses full of rotaractors and Rotarians.
We went to kalandazi place, passing through Nakawuka. It's a big village, full of green ( trees, swamps etc ) it impressed me a lot.

After reaching there we wasted no time, went straight into the forest. Inside, there was a place where some trees were cut for the school block project. So, we had to replace them.

We holes already made by the the village people there especially the leaders. We found them there already and we planted together. It is my first time to be in such activity, it was really great.

After filling up all the holes with trees, we went back to the play ground where we had another project of vaccinating polio. This was especially for children and adults who wanted to get COVID vaccine. Doctors came and first taught the people about polio and also COVID.

After that activity was done, we went to st. Kizito primary school which was also a project and still is sponsored by the Rotary club of Kampala East. We had our lunch from there and a little bit of rest.

Then we set off to Kampala because each activity which took us there was done. Before, we had group photos as you see

By evening I was already home. I can tell you it was a great journey and experience. This made me promise myself to never miss any project like this.
That is how Saturday tool me. Wish you well.
Thanks.
