Diary game better life: 15/01/2022/ my little friend got burnt entry by @latifah09

Hello friends, how's your weekend taking you so far? Mine is not that good 😢, my little friend got burnt in the night. He's name is Kelton, is around one year and half, he's stubborn, playful and full of joy. He became my first friend in the area and he nicknamed me nyamnyam because I used to give him some eats😊. Whenever I came back from intern he welcomed me with a smile while running. I got very fond of him.

Yesterday night, has everyone was going to sleep, we had a big scream of his, it was loud and scaring. Then the mother also started crying for help when she noticed that her son had been burned seriously by hot tea as the mother was going for sugar. All neighbors came out to see what was the matter, busy asking the mother but she was already scared, so they started thinking of first aid to use on the child. Some brought water, honey, many thoughts were brought up. But we used water because even the doctor was near.

In the morning, the doctor came back to see how she can work on the child. All the things she asked for were bought. One of the things she asked for was goose which made me wonder, because I didn't know that burns can be covered. She started preparing.

The mother got scared and left because she didn't want to see the pain her child was going through. Me and other neighbours helped the doctor in whatever she needed.
She got warn water and started washing the wounds. And started dressing him. He was in great pain, calling all peoples names, it was a sad moment.

She dressed him well, and I took him in my room to try comfort him. He cooled a little and even played. But later he got week and slept. The dad came back and of course blamed the mother for what had happened to the child.
Unfortunately, as he to see him, he found that he developed a high fever and was also shivering. He got him out side and started walking around. Around 5:30pm the situation worsened, the started shivering seriously, the eyes were looking up, we got scared. The father ran to the nearby hospital but he was chased away,then we got a body guy and went to another big clinic.

The main problem was that they had covered the wounds and the heat increased inside the body. Just know I also got fever there and then.
We also went after, the place was walkable. Thank God, the situation got stable. Right now he is going under treatment.

I came back to prepare myself for swalah and also thank Allah for helping him out because he could have died in the bed without anyone's knowledge.
