Achievement 2. Basic security on steem.

Hello everyone ☺️ hope you are doing well. Am here to present my achievement 2. I took a long time to do so because I had to first understand what am going to talk about and how to do it.

The way I understood achievement 2, is that basic securities on steem is understanding the use of keys used and these include;
_ master key
_ owners key
_ active key
_ private key
_ memo key

The uses of these keys is elaborated below;

MASTER PASSWORD: This is the most important key. It's actually recommended to have it backed up somewhere there is no recovery options to get it back. It also gives access to everything on my account.

OWNER KEY: I got that it's the second important key on steemit. It allows anything including posting, voting, commenting to changing the actual keys for the account. The only thing it can't do is deal with creating memos sometimes used when transferring from your steemit wallet.

ACTIVE KEY: This key does alot like posting, voting, commenting, trading on the internal market and voting for witnesses and even transferring money from the account.

POSTING KEY: Allows to post, comment, vote and follow other users . It's also best for sharing it, it's safer than masterpasswords or owner key.

MEMO KEY: This key handles private messages. It is also used when transferring from steem from poloniex over to steemit.

In nut shell, the achievement 2 was all about understanding the keys involved in steemit and their uses, as I tried to explain them above.
