Knowing Venezuela: Angel Waterfall

Hello Dear Steemians, here we are, the three female musketeers who are going to show you and to talk about some lovely places in our beautiful Venezuela.

Today, The Angel Falls (in Spanish 'Salto Ángel' ) which is an amazing waterfall, actually , the highest on the world ...

can you imagine an enormous amount of water coming down uninterrupted 807 meters ? well come to Venezuela and visit this impressive place . The total height is 979 meters (almost a kilometer)

the waterfall is located in the National Park Canaima, this is in the south of Venezuela, Bolivar State, this park was declared UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1994 and it is an amazing place.

If there is a place where you can feel you are part of nature is in front of this amazing waterfall and in this National Park, it is a really relaxing and wonderful place.

The waterfall was named after the US aviator Jimmy Angel , who was the first flew over it . Its name in the language Pemon spoken by the original habitants of thar region is ' Kerepakupai Vená' although is commonly named (apparently in a wrong manner) as Churum Merú
