Good morning! Why is Teacher day today in SIngapore? In Czech Republic is The Teachers´ Day 28.3., aniversary of borning of Jan Amos Komensky, educationalist, philosopher, theologian and bishop of Church Moravian Brethren.
In Singapore, Teacher's day falls on the first week of Sept. Usually the Friday of the week but this year, the same Friday is also a public holiday for the nation. Therefore, Teacher's day forward to Thursday.
