How to use Steem to give you Financial Freedom.

I'm guessing that a large number of people, 50-80%, started getting involved in crypto because of the massive amount of money to be made, and the possible chance to free themselves from the corporate hamster wheel the world runs on today.

Steemit is a good platform to make a constant flow of "side hustle" money. The platform is already set up for you. All you have to do is have a moment of inspiration. Write. Collect.

Financial freedom is a funny buzzword that everyone is throwing around. I define it as making enough money through passive income streams that they can cover your necessary living expenses. I'm not talking about buying you a stupid lambo, I'm talking about paying your cell phone bill and your rent.

The thing is, it takes discipline to make being on Steemit worth it. You can't just post once every two weeks or whenever you feel like it and think you're going to be successful. If you're writing PURELY for fun or taking the time to research and write out extremely meaningful articles or how-to's, then all power to you. That's likely more valuable than what I'm writing right now.

If you're on Steemit to make some extra cash though, there are some rules I would definitely follow to make a constant stream of cash. Oh and I forgot to say, please write your posts with as much quality as you can. Nobody is going to want to read a poorly written article again and again and you won't be able to grow a following.

  1. Post 1-2 times EVERY DAY! That's right, EVERY DAY! If you want to get readers hooked on your stuff it has to be constant. Did I mention it should be well written and interesting too?

  2. Make your articles relevant. You don't have to be a genius to understand what people want to read. People want to read about how they can make more money, thoughtful analysis of promising cryptos, or an amazing story that you know will draw people in. Nobody wants to hear about what you had for breakfast this morning, or a picture of your girlfriend on a bridge on China. I'm sorry but it's the truth. Just research which articles have performed best on Steemit.

  3. This is key. IF you start getting a loyal following and making a constant stream of Steem (woah tongue twister), it is CRUCIAL to reinvest it. Unless you use Steem to pay for your real life bills, use it to reinvest in cryptos that you think are going to increase in value over the course of the year.

Ex) Today I make 8-12 SBD and reinvest it in ETH, NEO, or XRP. These are cryptos I have faith in. I do that again day after day.

Think about the net result of that after 3 months. 6 months. 12 months. You can get massive results like this.

If you want to be even more savvy with your dough, use those crypto gains strategically to make even more money by diversifying into real estate, stocks, or educational courses for yourself. Rich people use money to make even more money.

They don't buy a damn lambo with it. Set yourself free with your Steem.

That's all!

I need to work on posting more consistently.

Also, something that's brought me the most "success" is engaging in meaningful discussion on posts that have a fair amount of traffic.

This is a community on the blockchain. What you're doing here cannot be erased. Represent something useful.

@nateonsteemit I can tell from reading your bio that you're my kinda guy. Consistency is key and something that us creatives struggle with. I'm working on setting up systems for myself that I KNOW will deliver results. It's just a matter of following it.

I love meaningful discussion on this platform. It's rare. Nice to meet you!

You too!

I think you're a shadow caster, right?

I've found valuable discussion on here is more common by percentage than other social media. And that the discussion is more valuable. But maybe I've been lucky.

There's a lot to learn here. Lots of anarchists, which makes me super happy lol

Thank you very much for your tips, @larrydavid4!

I translated and printed your keys to success: where do you suggest hanging it? ;)

@crmilazz SO AWESOME! Hang it where you work and write!!

I'll do, thank you and... good night!

I find it helpful and I agree with you..

I'm a huge fan of entrepreneurship and hustling and passive income or leveraged income opportunities. I also enjoy Steemit. That said I would never rely on Steemit for income because it's a third party platform and there are elements outside of my control. Steemit goes away my "business" if you want to call Steemit a business is done. Some whale decides to flag all my posts, my business is done. The price of Steem tanks which i have no control over my business is done. I try to have as much control whenever possible when it comes to my income streams. For me Steemit is icing on the cake but not something I would ever count on.
