Don't Major in Minor Things

I heard a very true quote the other day.

"Most people major in minor things". What does that mean? If you've ever been to university/college then you know that you pick a major when you get to school. It's what you focus on. It's your guiding compass to finishing school and sending you out into the real world.

When people major in minor things, it means that they focus on the small stuff instead of the real, big issues that are deep down inside of them. If you ever hear people complaining about some minor issue over and over again, they're probably really trying to talk about something in their life that they want to change but can't.

Focus on the major things in life. Relationships, health, success, learning etc... You'll have a much richer life as a result.
