Changing " I Have To" into "I Get To"

I'm going to let you in on a little secret to more happiness.

It's a tool I came across from a couple different sources, including brain expert Jim Kwik.

So much of our lives can seem like endless to-do lists, running here and there to oil the cogs of our life or put out fires that may emerge. These tasks can be draining and tiring. They can make you feel like you just want to quit life for a bit.

But what if you could use a secret weapon to flip the script. It comes from having a natural superpower in this world. It comes from gratitude.

You see, right now we say things like "Oh I HAVE to go get groceries for my kids," or " I HAVE to clean my house today".

What if we inserted " I get to" instead of "I have to". "I get to go get groceries for my kids". " I get to clean my house today".
Do you know how much of the world would love to be able to grocery shop? To get to clean their very own house?!
Can you fathom how incredibly blessed you are to have the life you live?

So utilize gratitude and watch how those mundane tasks can turn into adventures that you're fortunate to be able to do.
