DIY - My Self Watering Plant
Happy New Year guys!!! I would like to share my self watering plant, my first day of doing something in 2017. Here in the Philippines, plastic bottle always problem on every typhoon came in the country because every plastic bottle stack in the drainage or in the watering hole. Instead of throwing the plastic bottle anywhere, I use it for my ideal self watering plant. :D :D That can be displayed everywhere inside the house. I think this not the first time you see a watering plant, but I want to show you how to made one this awesome recycled craft.
Materials:
- Plastic Bottle
- Yarn
- Water
- Soil
- Plants
Step-By-Step:
1.) Cut the Cone top of bottle.
2.) Cut the bottom part of the bottle make sure same height of the top bottle we cut.
3.) Remove the cup of the bottle, follow the picture.
4.) Put the yarn like a spiral.
5.) Pour the water.
6.) Put the soil and the plant.
Done!!!

That's a nice idea! I think the cord must be made out of cotton to correctly wick the water up to the plant. A nylon cord would not wick the water up so well. But cotton would work great. Cotton fabric should work, too, if it is hard to get cotton cord. You are a creative recycler and gardener! :D
