Harga yang dibeli tak sesuai dengan pedasnya cabai yang ditanam petani. Untuk harga hari ini harga cabai merah ditingkat petani berkisar Rp. 30.000 hingga Rp. 35.000 perkilogramnya.

Diakui petani harga tersebut kurang pedas jika dibandingkan dengan hasil panen sebelumnya. Sementara keberuntungan saat ini dimiliki oleh patani cabai rawit sebab harga cabai mungil ini berada diatas di atas Rp. 50.000 hingga 80.000 perkilogramnya.
