The first restaurant to accept Steem and SBD as payment in Venezuela
Proudly, we´ve organized the first social event in Venezuela, promoting STEEM and SBD as a mean of payment in a shop. This will be the first of a series of social events across the city of Maracaibo, Venezuela, in which normal commercial establishments will accept STEEM and SBD as a normal trade currency. The social event will take place Thursday 7th, 2017 @Bibas, located in the AV. 3F with 68 st., Bellas Artes Center, Maracaibo, Venezuela, between 5pm and 9pm.
You may order a Coffee, a Pizza or a Beer, and can only pay with STEEM and SBD, between 5pm and 9pm schedule. In a few years, this experience may be compared with the story of Laszlo Hanyecz, related to two pizzas bought with bitcoins several years ago. Follow the link at the bottom of this post.
We are quite excited by this social event, because is a great opportunity to exchange ideas of what users and consumers think about STEEMIT and the real use of the platform in Venezuela. From there, create a community of user with a joint purpose to develop ideas to expand knowledge of the platform.

Taking advantage of the community of "steeminians" gathered that day, we will propose the following points, open for discussion:
1. Ideas to spread knowledge over Blockchain Technology in Maracaibo.
2. Listen to ideas of how to develop a business model for Venezuela over Steemit Platform.
3. Promote projects regarding trading or exchanging goods and services over Steemit Platform.
4. Organize the next Meetup Event in Maracaibo.
