Hello Steemit!
Hello Steemiters!
It's my pleasure to join such an interesting project and community.
I am girl from Slovakia, geographical heart of Europe. My life story took me through several interesting life chapters. From young kid who loved maths , through student of artificial intelligence to java developer in scrum team.
However early after school I become lost in consumerism and stressful 8/5 work week with exhausted evenings and without energy and passion. I was totally dissatisfied with my life. With my now ex-husband, we were trying to fix it by evenings in restaurants and cinemas or by buying expensive gifts and items. It was path to hell and we were not aware of that. After getting a husky dog in a wave of providing more things to our home, our life was immediately upside down.
Two years before it ended up with divorce. I was 27. By the way divorce is hell, don't do it 😉.
I have decided to start challenges in every aspect of my life. I have created my goal: Dream Me 2.0, as I deeply appreciate and value self-development.
My first challenge was to travel alone to Norway just with backpack. Then I have been fighting challenge after challenge. I have lost a lot of weight and found my passions in life.
Now I am:
- minimalist with focus on what os really important
- android developer to be able to spend time with family
- kinda digital nomad after I have quit my daily job
- quidditch player
- author of new blog Adventures Of Simplicity
- freshly married to my great programmer husband
- have 6 week old son
Steemit is my current adventure.
Newborn is my current and biggest challenge.
With newborn you have no sleep, no time to eat, code or any time for yourself. I could not continue with my coding currently so I have to find something what I can do for self-development and work fulfilment. And what I can do with one hand on smartphone during feedings as it is my only free time. ;)
And I have found the Steemit. I was reading about cryptocurrencies before, but with the Steam I was impressed by the idea.
I hope I will become valuable part of the community.

Hi! :) I loved your intro post 😀 I am also fan of bushcraft and survival. My photo in this post is from trip with my sister and our making fire training. Her fire is in background, while I hold mine 😉 I was teaching her, how to do it😀
You have very interesting story and specialisation. I am also big fan of plants and trees. I made an app My Herbs, to have personal digital herbarium. And after maternity leave I plan bigger project - geolocation game about saving planet by fighting co2 with trees planting and guarding old ones.
From the brief check you have very interesting posts. You have also great photos!! ;)
Thanks ladywoodi! Thanks quite impressive that you made your own app! It's quite an interesting idea I see, I'm terrible for writing notes in notebooks and then forgetting them! I might have a play with it!
If you would like it, don't hesitate to write me if you would need any customization. Btw do you write any posts about bushcraft? I would love to read about it from botanist point of view.
I haven't really got into any sort of regular habit of writing posts to be honest.... it's the PhD guilt you see! My brother and his ex actually have a bushcraft company, although I've been involved with it I've always mostly left that to them as their "area".
