LifeHack - The time is NOW!

How many times have you heard someone say "When I retire, I want to go on a trip around the world"? Or buy a boat and go fishing every week? Or plant roses in the garden? Doesn't really matter what someone's dream is, the problem is that it's something to do at some point in the future.

We keep postponing doing the things we'd like to do and many times these dreams never come true. I don't even want to think about the people that plan their personal lives around arbitrary milestones. "When I get that promotion I'll really think about getting married and starting a family!" I even know teenagers that say they are too busy studying to have some fun...
All these people are so set on their goals you cannot really make them understand that life is short, in some sad cases considerably shorter than one would imagine and there is no time like the present to live your life.
A few years ago I heard on Tv a father grieving the loss of his daughter and his words have been stuck in my mind ever since. "I would've told her to have more fun, have a boyfriend, enjoy her life, had I known..." The girl was in medical school and her whole life was just study and work. She died in a helicopter crash while working as a volunteer on a rescue mission.
That's why I say, the time is NOW.
