God on the blockchain
I must admit I pay no attention whatsoever to the ads on our platform. I don’t mind them either and if they’re any benefit to Steemit, then it’s OK. However, as I was scrolling down my feed earlier I saw an ad for God or at least an organization that seems to know God’s plan for me.
The ad redirected to a Romanian site, which, in turn, is connected to an American religious organization. I’m sorry to say this and I hope I don’t offend anybody, but I have zero trust in American pastors of all shape and color. Most of them are in it just for the money, so I’m not buying into this no matter what…
Speaking of money, this organization at least is keeping up with the times and you can making donations in cryptocurrencies, preferably Bitcoin. If many sites deal with the issue by simply providing the wallet address, this church is more old-fashioned and you have to contact them by phone and speak with a certain Debbie. Well, I have no doubt this Debbie is more than willing to accept any donation….
Still, I guess even this counts as cryptocurrencies becoming mainstream so it’s good for us…
Since I don’t have anything to donate I think I’ll pass the opportunity of meeting God ‘personally’, whatever that might mean…
But, if I remember correctly, some time ago there was another ad on our site for a dating site which promises I can meet someone ‘my own age’, also ‘personally’ I hope! On the other hand, one cannot be too careful with this sort of dating sites, especially now that we’re mooning. Obviously, there’s going to be lots of gold-diggers trying to get their hands on crypto-millionaires. I’ve been waiting so long for my Lambo, it would be a shame to have some asshole driving away with it!
I wanted to make a really intelligent comment here but you said it all so...
"What you said." 😋

Yes, American pastors selling a middle eastern God. Scam of the century.
