Greetings everyone. Hopefully everyone is doing fine.
Clash Of Clans has been the flagship of mobile farming games for a long time. What's more impressive is that this game somehow managed to hold on to regular active players while most games runs out of players after 4 to 5 years. But we can see the exception for this game. It was only made possible for the regular updates and new additional contents. Popular games sometimes prioritize making money by selling skins and items over updating the game with new features and improvements. That's the reason the game initially dies after a few years. But it's not the case for Clash Of Clans.
This game has consistently delivered quality content and gameplay updates since the beginning and it continues to do so. With each update, players can enjoy new features and enhancements. So, one can assume the developers are still very much committed to this game till date.

One of the main reasons this game has maintained its popularity is the regular introduction of new town hall levels. This keeps players engaged as they continuously update their bases. The peak Town Hall level in this game currently is TH-15. There were various changes made in to the night mode or night base as well. It was a pvp mode at first. Two players had to engage each other in real time and the player with the most destruction on the opponents base used to get the win. But that mechanism has been changed after a while. Now the night base is much more simpler and the pvp mechanism has been removed. The troops acts differently in this base as well. There are actually two night bases in this game at the moment. The second one is connected to the original night base. After clearing the main base, one has to take the remaining troops and deploy them in to the second one for a 200% total destruction.

Another new gameplay mechanism is called Clan Capital. In this mode there is one single base which belong to the clan and every individual has to earn medals and contribute to make the capital base bigger and stronger. I really liked how, in this mode, every clan member had to team up to upgrade a single base together. This mode was really innovative.

Because of such updates, Clash of Clans is still played by millions and is very much alive despite being it more than a decade old. I still enjoy this game very much and play it on my free time.
