Game Of The Year From 2003 - 2023 || Part 09 || Tron Fan Club
Greetings fellow tron fans. Hopefully everyone is doing well and having a great time in the community. I am also doing fine alhamdulillah.
In the last part of this post, we've talked about two of the most popular games that got released on 2019. But I forgot to mention another blockbuster game of 2019. I really don't know how did this one slipped my mind. So, let's not waste more words and get straight into business...
Devil May Cry 5
Devil May Cry 5 was a huge hit and it was quite a popular game that got released on 2019. This game is developed by Capcom and is the 5th installment of the the devil may cry series. This series has been a hit since DMC 1. All Devil May Cry (DMC) games are quite fun to play and the story gets better with each installment. The combat systems of this series are unparalleled. This series is undoubtedly among the best hack and slash games available till date. In this game, the player get to play as three different characters. Each has its own combat system that is completely different and unique from the others. The story of this game is quite good and it is mostly loved by the fans because of the game's visuals and overall graphics. The graphics of this game are absolutely stunning. I mostly loved the combat mechanism of this game and have completed the game twice in a row.
Although Devil May Cry 5 was a great game for 2019, the game did not win the Game of the Year title and lost to Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. But it at least got nominated for several awards in 2019. Devil May Cry 5 has sold over 7.3 million copies worldwide as of now. The numbers indicate that this one is indeed a game worth playing.
The Last Of Us: Part II
The Last Of Us: Part 2 was the game of the year of 2020. It is the second installment of the series. The Last Of Us: Part 1 was released on 2013 and got a remastered version released on 2014. The story wasn't finished in the first installment and the players were eagerly waiting for the second part of the game. And it finally arrived on 2020 and won the Game Of The Year along the way. This series basically takes place in a zombie-infected apocalyptic fantasy world. This series receives most of its praise for its amazing graphics, emotional story and realistic characters. The part 1 is now available for PC. But part 2 still remains a PlayStation exclusive. I might try this series once both of these games are available for PC.
The Last Of Us: Part 2 has sold over 10 million copies till now and its still a PlayStation exclusive. This shows how good this game actually is and how much more it will sell once it gets to PC.
