During the orientation, before the class of my nursery 1 daughter started, their teacher told us not to buy school supplies because a sponsor will be giving some of it.

And yesterday, the AFTA, the sponsor, the good samaritan finally came bringing their gifts for the kids.

✨WHAT IS AFTA?✨

AFTA is a short term for "Association of Fil-Am Teachers of America, Inc". Yes, you heard me right. It is a group of teachers teaching in America. And what a great foundation they had. And we are so grateful that the school of my kid was chosen them to support.

Teacher Gretchen, told us not to come to school late. We should be there before 10:00A.M. And so when we go their, we saw this banner made by Nursery 1 Batch 3 welcoming our visitors.

After few minutes, they finally came bringing with them the stuff that they are going to share with the kids.

The program started with a prayer led by one pf their members, then opening remarks followed by them also wherein they introduce theirself to us, then they let the kids dance. And the most awaiting part is the giving of gifts.

This is now the crowd. There were almost 80 students + more or less 70parents. We are gathered together in the school's gym.

Of course, me and my hubby accompanied my kid. So, we could witness how she interact with the crowd. I am just so excited seeing my baby getting matured as the day passed by.

The gifts includes notebook, paper, 2 pencils, scisor, sharpener, crayons and a snack.

The moment my kid received her gift, she was so happy and always say "mom, my bag is nice", "mom, please give me my nice bag". That's how cute kids are, they are so grateful of what they receive. And its a good attitude that needs to develop.
