Buenas Noches steemians!

It has been a very busy day today after typhoon Odette (International Name- Typhoon Rai) hit the Philippines especially Central Visayas. January 3 was the first day of the class this year. And since our place has became the evacuation center to those individuals who had lost their houses due to the typhoon, so when we had our first day we didn't worked as a teacher, instead we worked as a maintenance wherein we cleaned the school, we even cut some twigs that were fallen by the typhoon and worst we cleaned the broken windows. We prepare our respective classrooms safe for our students and parents that will come and retrieved the answers.

And these week is scheduled for for the distribution of modules and retrieval of their answers. Though we still had an unstable internet connection yet we still tried to contact our students so the education still continues amidst the crisis we were facing right now. We really gave importance to education because that is the only treasure we can give to the young learners. That is the reason why we Filipinos really gave value to education even we were facing these tremendous happenings.

After a very long day, we @fabio2614, @abby0207, @criszy and a colleague namedb Marissa decided to lunch out so we can relax and distress from a very busy day.

Fortunately, Mam Marissa will be celebrating her Natal Day next week, and she had just made an advance celebration so she brought us to McDonalds here in Mactan, Philippines and she was the one to pay the expenses.

McDonalds is a fastfood wherein they offer rice meals, chicken, burgers, spaghetti, drinks and desserts. Just to inform everyone, since we are rice lovers so the McDonalds is offering rice meals because other countries didn't offer rice only burgers, chicken and drinks.

McDonalds also is considered as the most famous fast food in our country because aside from Jollibee, almost all the kids love it and always mention it especially when there is a mascot dancing on the store.

Unfortunately, some part of the fastfood was destroyed but we are still safety eating there. There is no major damage.

And Mam Marissa ordered a chicken fillet rice meal with fries and drinks.

And we really enjoyed eating the treat of the birthday girl.

After eating, we went straight to the Barangay Hall and get our cedula because it was needed in our school. We normally get our cedula every first month of the year.
